We go to Dickson (which is located in our shared County of Dickson) a lot for work and play. The city’s roots are from the railroad era preceding the Civil War, when it was referred to as “Mile 42 Post” (the distance from Nashville by rail). The downtown area that was built up to serve the railroad in the 1800s is still quaint, and you will find excellent restaurants and merchants there.
